About Typerkeys

Meet the independent operator of Typerkeys and learn how its typing tools, lessons, and practice content are designed.

Who makes Typerkeys

Typerkeys is an independent browser-based typing practice project operated by Ghulam Murtaza. The site is built to help people practice typing, check speed and accuracy, and learn touch typing through guided lessons.

The operator maintains the website and its educational guides. Typerkeys is not affiliated with an employer, school, keyboard manufacturer, or typing certification body.

What the typing tool does

Visitors can take timed speed tests, practice with different text modes, choose from more than 50 typing languages, review practice results, and use guided lessons. Typing language support is separate from interface translation, which is available in a smaller set of languages.

Practice settings and history are stored in the visitor's browser. The typing app does not send custom passages or results to a Typerkeys account server.

Corrections and contact

Typing speed depends on the test method, language, passage, and device. Guides describe practical ways to practice and explain the measurements Typerkeys uses; they are not employment, medical, or professional advice. Readers can report errors or suggest corrections through the contact page.
